Coburn was hanging in the low slot, covering nobody. MacDonald left Weiss alone in front to go to Helm. He didn't make it, and Coburn didn't get to Weiss in time to prevent the redirection.

That's incorrect. Coverage is man to man there. They got a lucky deflection. Both actually had good coverage. Sometimes a goal just happens when there is no mistake.

I wouldn't call it an egregious error, but a good defenseman probably gets to helm before he gets that shot away. Coburn didn't do a great job of neutralizing Weiss

Not egregious, but there was missed communication and a coverage breakdown there, as Helm had all day to shoot.
