I don't think it's possible to have a worse record than Buffalo. And I would be shocked if they had a worse record than Edmonton as well. But I hear what you are saying, they would never have the luck to win the draft lottery. How much of a drop off is there from McDavid to Eichel?

Yup, agreed I don't think they will be that bad but I still feel annoyed that we lost out on Kane in a year when we were by far the worst.

From what I have read and seen people talk about McDavid possibly being a generational type talent along the lines of Crosby while Eichel would be a legit number 1 overall any other year. That doesn't really answer but it's what I have been reading for awhile.

Its amazing we are that low in the standings. Looking at the goal differentials we are in way better shape than the bottom feeders.

they have talent there. but overall, i dont think they are playoff contenders. will probably finish as one of the bottom 3 or 4 in the conference. only caught bits and pieces, but the pens generally looked apathetic.
