Nicklas Grossmann has the same number of goals as Vinny Lecavalier and Matt Read and one more than R.J. Umberger. #FlyersTalk - Winning
That's the coaches fault.

Yes, let's give up on another player who still has enormous upside. |

It is a big stretch. It's a huge stretch to say that a player who can't win a regular role in the NHL, and was passed up by every team in the league at no cost in player assets, is going to develop into a player that puts up first line winger numbers. - MJL
Small cap hit too. The situation is like offering thirty people a dollar and all thirty of them saying no thanks. |

Why even (frank)ing dress him? - Tomahawk
Because PEB has been effective & that can't be in the lineup each game. |

I honestly think scratching him might increase his trade value. GMs might forget how bad he looks on the ice. |

I wouldn't give him up unless you replace him with young talent....but he is better then what he is giving the Flyers right now....enormous upside...really?

I think PEB has struggled a bit of late, but he's been better & certainly is more versatile than Vinny or VandeVelde. |

I dont think anyone said give up on him but if you could move him in a package for either a legit number 1 dman under the age of 30 or a legit number 1 winger under the age of 30 it has to be considered.

They aren't close enough to anything to worry about trading for a #1 D, they've drafted a fair amount of D and I feel they have one who can become that in time.
You keep the good young players, prospects, & picks. |
