you're twisting my words...my original projection was 40 to 60 points... of course, you gravitate toward the 60 and are trying to hold my feet to the fire on it ...he scored at 41 point pace last season when in a more suitable role...do you think he could put up 40? And its not that unreasonable to think he could find an extra point every 4 games as he developed to get to that 60 mark, which was again, a best case, top of the projection number, and was not meant to be the most likely outcome.

I'm not twisting your words. In two of my posts I stated that the 60 points was on the upper end of the spectrum of the potential that you think Akeson has. 40 would not be impossible if he develops further and blooms late as a player. But right now, it's questionable if Akeson is ever going to be a regular NHL player, and put up any kind of point total.

Because PEB has been effective & that can't be in the lineup each game.

Flyers big problem is not only in the D zone with the breakdowns in coverage. Vigneault is well known for favoring quick up and over-over breakouts. The Flyers are dumping the puck in with out any speed, Ranger d-men making easy retrievals, quick up breakout to an unmarked winger along the boards, short pass to a streaking wingers, and easy rushes and entry into the Flyers zone. Flyers losing puck battles and bad coverages, lots of chances against. Flyers have no neutral zone back pressure, and can't sustain a forecheck.

Or wayne simmonds? You are worse than homer. Why would you add offense? Your defensemen are god awful and the system you play doesn't do anything to help them out. You have plenty of very talented offensive players the problem is you can't get out of your own zone to generate offense because your defense stinks.

So is this better or worse than when Peter Laviolette was coach? Cause I remember people complaining about his teams not being able to beat the Rangers. Is there a coach out there that can? Umberger, Vinny, and a 3rd rounder for Darryl Sutter.

So haven't been able to watch... shots 11 to 29, possession 30 to 70. Is that indicative of the way the game has gone?
