He's getting sheltered minutes. When all is said and done, he will be well over 25 minutes a night for his entire career.

And Risto really is still a rookie and learning . Why is this a bad thing ? Risto will be right with Myers in 2 or 3 seasons.

Enroth is, and always has been streaky. He's going to come back down to earth. They still have the least amount of talent of any team in the league, and ultimately, the standings will reflect that.

All I know is that this is another thing Myers used to get criticized for. Not being a minutes eater. He's slowly debunking every negative myth about him

No doubt they were out shot . But I like how they are forcing perimeter shots . and trying to eliminate the oppositions chances in the dirty areas. The whole team is buying into better play in their own end . I noticed the forwards were helping out more last night.

Confidence is funny thing, all it takes is one bounce going the wrong way and suddenly they look like the team from week 1.

Even if the goaltending maintains it's current pace, the team is one bad injury from benoit re-joining the team.

Myers is playing the most minutes he's played since his rookie year. 3 mins more a night than the previous 3 years. It's a long season lets see how he holds up and if he can do it year to year. He is a good not great defenseman.

I have some crow to eat thanks to Enroth. Dude has been playing stellar the past few games I've seen. I still have a conniption every time they snipe over his shoulder, but he's been playing real well.
