IMO Eberle ends up moved.
Perron doesn't net them enough, and you don't just trade former 1st overall picks. - sbroads24
Can't see it under the current management. MacTavish reminds me of Regier. Patient but ultimately spineless. Can't picture him making a big move involving one of their big name players. |

Cracks me up that Girgensons still leads in All Star Voting. Go Zemgus. |

It'll be like that up until the last week then all of a sudden he won't be close.
Much like Fitzpatrick back in 06/07 |

Anisimov out 2-3 months, maybe CBJ writes the year off, Johansen-Eichel would be a great 1-2 punch.. |

Jarkko IMO makes a move.
Rumors are Bobo wants zero to do with their contract offers. I can see him moved in a blockbuster to solidify that team. |

"Watching Girgensons, who will turn 21 in January, for even just a few shifts shows that there's no tanking in his game"
Yes there is tanking in Z's game.... this kind of tanking:

More injuries for CBJ? Yikes. They gotta do something now. |

He is getting less TOI than Brodie.......
- dadeadhead
Who's play has been elevated because he's playing with Giordano..
Similar to how Tyson Strachan went from fringe NHL'er to a 20+ minute a night player ( not that I think it should continue once Gorges is back) |

They will be even more alike when they both aren't GM's.
They have to make a move. Perron nets you a similar defensemen to what they already have in Petry,Shultz etc.
Eberle could get them a Yandle caliber player. |

Maybe, they've got assets in the form of prospects as well. But it wouldn't surprise me if they decided to just chalk this year up to injuries and look ahead to next year. |

Could it possibly be the other way around?
Their top 2 pairings are averaging 24:45 and 23:06 a night. |

He really should, but I think in the end he'll make a minor move or two to just make the team look less embarrassing.
I'd move a package involving Klefbom and others before moving Eberle though. I think thats more of a draft day trade. |

They still need
a #1/2 center
2 top 4 defensemen
2 bottom 6 guys

Without getting into a whole debate about it, I see your point and realize that TOI doesn't = quality of play.
I do however think it's a HUGE step in his development. I guess we will see how it plays out over a course of a whole season |

I love that he's really caught attention across the league. The fact that he's not even 21 yet means there's still a ton of room for growth in his game. |

Again IMO this is what it looks like to see a 24 yr old turn the corner.

Another example the an organization staying true to their former players and not just blowing it up.
Fire Lowe and Mac, watch the organization turn it around.
I could see those two referring to the glory days far to often for the current players liking.

IMO one of the core needs to go.
They are too comfortable losing together. |

In all fairness, it was probably prior to Bob being healthy again and before Anisimov went down with a 2-3 month injury. |

At the time it seemed like Bobrovsky's return would help and that Anisimov was "close". Wouldn't surprise me if they went for it by making a big trade but Im guessing the idea of eichel has crossed their mind. |
