Sometimes you gotta have the stones and make the move now or miss out. - dadeadhead
And I would agree if the player in question was someone of caliber that isn't usually available.
I doubt Murray would be kicking himself over "missing out" on an underachieving fringe 2nd liner |

24 and has never really had anyone to play with in a defensive 1st system. IMO he's a better option at #1 lw than Moulson is. |

If his name was Smith he'd have been moved already.

That's probably true, but he's still not one of those names that fall under the "now or never" category. There will probably another player or two at the draft and more in the off season who are of the same caliber as boedker. |

Lots of players have speed, and they'll probably be available on draft day, and the off season. |

So does Flynn. I enjoyed seeing him score the game tying goal as well as the shootout winner last night. I don't understand the people around here that say he has no business being on an NHL roster. |

On a competitive team he's a 20/20 guy.
He rarely makes the wrong play. |

The Foligno name is why he's beloved.
I like the player but if a deal came along that he needed to be involved in I wouldn't bat an eye.
Gus, Risto, and Reinhart are the only "untouchables" on this team IMO.

I just don't see how his name has anything to do with it. He should earn a spot based on his play. Not who his dad is. I liked him and Stewart together the last few games. If he has to be dealt/throw in for a player that solidifies the top 6, I'm all for it but I like the player.

You need guys like him on competitive teams. Those are the guys that manage to get big goals in the playoffs when the stars are being shut down. He hustles out there every shift. Perfect 3rd/4th liner. |

It shouldn't but it does.
Like I said I do like the player. He is what he is and that's a grinder. Grinders are a dime a dozen. |

When this team is ready to compete, I hope he's still here. He has that playoff hero mold. |

Maybe he can be our Justin Williams. Other than the first 2 years out of the lockout, Williams has stats that I could see being what Flynn could put up. |

Probably add zadorov to that list too. Regardless of the growing pains we are gonna see, hes exactly what tim murray wants. Not saying he would never trade him, but i cant even imagine what kind of players would be coming back. |

Foligno and stewart played a couple games with hodgson last year and it was the best ive seen coho look. He had room to move and time to make plays. Its so hard with foligno though, cuz i cant tell if they were on to something or if it was just folignos two games a month that he shows up. The pipeline is filled with guys that can take folignos job, deslauriers is making a case right now. |

He is only noticed when he goes all out
Way to many no shows for me.
If his last name was Smith, I would want him gone yesterday |
