I'm just curious what there plan is at that position. They're obviously too talented to tank and I don't know of any noteworthy QB's that are hitting free agency. It leads me to assume they'd have to trade for one somehow.

They reached for him, and he rewarded them with sh!t play. Dumb as a stump. And as far as Marrone playing "not to lose", he's the one who told Whaley I'm putting Orton in, and it's my call. Sounds like the guy has a few stones to me.

So you have a 2nd year player that they are now forced to keep, because they won't be the idiots that give up on a QB after 14 games.

And a below average Orton that is a journeyman for a reason. It's pretty frustrating considering the talent around the rest of the team

He's 5-3. Two of them against the Jets, one against the Vikings, one where Detroit missed 3 field goals, and today.

He blew the Chiefs game, was pathetic against Miami, bad against New England.

We need better than both of them. Period

This team has 12-4 or 13-3 talent everywhere but the QB position...You know the one we haven't figured out for what 15 years now.

We have an OC and a head coach that play not to lose rather than win.

And that's why I'm annoyed. At least with EJ, there was a possibility of inprovment. With Orton you know what you have, and it's not that good either

Hoyer will be a free agent. Im guessing his time is up in cleveland after getting benched for manziel. Carolina most likely resigns cam. And thats about it for qbs.

Also, it appears the niners are going to look to trade harbaugh.
