Impossible. People aren't banging down the door for Amac? He was signed at market value though - PhillySportsGuy
That cap hit will look peanuts when the cap limit goes up to $500M in 3-years time. |

I don't think these so called "experts" know what their talking about.
AMac is a building block with a contract any team in the league would love to have |

Elliot Friedman had some interesting things to say on Sportsnet radio about the Flyers:
http://www.nicholsonhocke...ughts-on-schenn-couturier
“The tough thing for there is he doesn’t have a lot that other people want. Nobody really wants to take Andrew MacDonald’s contract. Nobody really wants to take Vinnie Lecavalier’s contract. Philly knows if they want to move those guys, they’re probably going to have to eat a chunk."

Hartnell? - jmatchett383
Last I checked, Hartnell is still a productive top six power forward. He's big, gritty, plays physically, scores goals and even the advanced stats guys like him, because he's had good possession numbers over the past few seasons. |

Lol
Edit: I really hope Hexy had no say in that deal and subsequent extension |

Makes perfect sense. Those assets could not be valued any lower right now. The timing is bad.
The very best we can hope for is that those players do something resembling playing hockey at, at least, a decent level for a contender to sniff around for some depth heading into the playoffs. |

I do think MacDonald is a fine second pairing guy (please don't recite his flaws kthx), but like pretty much all our defensemen he's one of those "needs the right partner" guys. |

maybe just before the trade deadline some desperate team will offer a third rounder...I will accept a 2nd rounder for Coburn and 3rd rounders for the rest of the D |

He falls a lot though and takes too many penalties. He draws more than he takes but those are irrelevant stats filled with false data |

How would you rank these guys from best to worst:
Ghost
Morin
Snaheim
Hagg
other
Alt - jmatchett383
...problem is, that's tough to do right now considering the injuries setting back Ghost and Morin, and it depends if you're talking NHL-ready or not. But I personally would put Sanheim last, simply because of development time... Alt just in front of him.. Then I'd say probably Hagg... and then it's a toss up between Morin and Ghost.
That being said, I think Alt and Hagg are probably the most "NHL ready"... Ghost is the only one we've really gotten a taste of on the big club, so it's hard not to take his play into the equation. But I think Morin is going to be a beast as well when he comes up.
I know that didn't fully answer the question, but there's just too many factors to account for in ranking them, imo. If what you were getting at is which one would I be willing to part with? Probably Alt first.. |

Exactly. Quoting one of you guys, our defense is made up of 6 Robins. We need more Batmans.

Yes, I was talking as in "Least tradeable" to "Most tradeable." Where do you see them ranked as in most valuable to the Flyers in the future. |

He's showed to be a good back up and fill in for stretches. I know Dallas wants and upgrade. There might be a playoff team looking to upgrade. Problem is goalies rarly bring bakc a lot. Might be a low pick in return - J35Bacher
