Did Ferraro say that? - BulliesPhan87
Once I saw Doughty ahead of AMac on the list, I completely disregarded it. |

No. ESPN's wonderful columnists and personalities did - PhillySportsGuy
They recently did the Top 25 best players and Buccigross, who is relatively knowledgeable about hockey, said of Giroux "not point per game player in the regular season" although he's been over a point per game the last 4 years and has a career 0.92 PPG average. Now there is no one left to trust about hockey at ESPN. |

So what would you need to get from SJ to trade Couturier as Ek suggested? I see some people are all ready to ship Couturier out because he has no offensive game, too slow should be moved no before he gets older.
People female dog about the Sharp trade still and yet they still want to move Couturier. Seems like same things were said about Sharp. - J35Bacher
Vlasic for Couts if they take Lacavalier too. |

It would definitely have to involve Pavelski or Couture... which SJ won't do. - WarriorHockey21
I'm not interested in Pavelski at the age of 30. Not really sold on Hertl and Couture isnt going anywhere. |

They had voracek ranked 11 spots behind Simmonds. These people know nothing. Ferraro is pretty well respected and has his pulse on things around the league. |

I think they'd much rather move Thornton or Marleau |

Media types like Ferraro exercise their own agenda. Right now the Flyers are the weakling that's easy to pick on. |

Any way you can make a move sending Vinny to SJ for Thorton or Marleau. Same length in deal but SJ would save moeny on cap.
Anyone think SJ would get desperate to move one of them? |

Ferraro is basically saying Boychuk is better than MacDonald. It's not really a controversial statement. The Islanders really benefited from the Bruins cap crunch. |

And Chicago's because Leddy has looked good too.
Maybe we can get Saad. He will be a RFA after this season and Toews and Kane's new deals kick in. |

Boychuk is not even close to being the reason the Isles are where they are. |

I agree that Boychuk is better then MacDonald. But the statement is really uneccessary. May not be controversial, but it certainly is petty. |

He's generally considered the best analyst working TV... but he's not exactly surrounded by stiff competition for that title.
Loved what he said about the Vinny sweeps last year. |

The day that SJ trades Marleau or Thornton for Lecavalier is the day I ask Hextall for his hand in marriage. |

Boychuk is not even close to being the reason the Isles are where they are. - GOA88
Yeah, outside of being their top scoring defenseman, leader in TOI among defensemen and playing a big role on special teams Boychuk has zip to do with the Isles place at the top of the division |

Except one is one of the top defensemen on a team that has the most points in the NHL and the other is the top defenseman on a team that is 1 point ahead of the Sabres. |
