Ghost really showed he needs more time imo. With that injury I am not sure you can really call this a good development year as is. I don't want him up here.
Maybe if they had a good steady mentor in Timonen, but nobody is close to that now. I do think they want Morin up here sooner than later. - flyer_nutter
With that injury, I don't see Gostisbehere up with the Flyers again this year. I certainly see a good chance of him and or Morin making the team next year. |

Berube order #1. If you pass up a shot and pass the puck away, bag skate. Shoot the puck, shoot the puck, shoot the puck. Anyone who continues to pass up shots gets ice time cut for someone who will shoot the puck.
It is amazing how many shots this team passes up. |

That's a recipe for continued disaster with the D on this club. Keeping five of these guys? No way. I keep three tops and I'm going to consider myself stuck with two of them. - mayorofangrytown
I think you have to hang on to Streit, MDZ and possibly Coburn. Everyone else is expendable under the right circumstances. No prospect is coming in and QB'ing the PP the way Streit can. MDZ is just playing too damn well to get rid of and Coburn, when on his game brings the shut down element that we aren't going to get from any prospects for a while. For Coburn it's about consistency moving forward if I'm keeping him or not. |

How did he really show anything positive or negative? He played SEVEN games this year. How do you judge on that? |

If you keep 3, you need to add 4. That doesn't make sense. I think it's risky to count on more then two of the young defenseman making the jump.

I am petrified at who will be the steady partner to teach them the NHL ropes. Look here Robert, this is Luke Schenn. Hes been in the league for over 5 years now, you play with him and learn all you can.

It happens with a pass first team without any pure goal scorers/snipers |

Very ferocity. In what I did see from him, in the limited minutes that Craig thought he deserved, by far the lowest of any d-man.. He looked like he needed more time imo. |

I can see if the Flyers are counting on Gostisbehere making the team, moving on from Del Zotto.

Actually it makes sense. Here you go Robert, you're going to play with Luke. Do the opposite of what he does and you'll have a long successful career!
