I'm as hard on Hall as anyone, but even I can admit he's at least busting his a$$ out there. I almost felt bad for him last night.
Trade the rest of the (frank)ers. - The-O-G
Really important!
I did not like the lead thread. Just don't think it is healthy for anyone to suggest it is primarily up to Hall to lead the Oilers out of the wilderness. You can destroy a young player's confidence by making him personally responsible for the collective failings of a team. Is there any player who could come and replace Hall and turn the Oilers into instant winners. Just not fair to a young player. |

I agree. And as I say, every time the team gets down he gets double-shifted, and I think it leads to him trying the 1 on 3 maneuvers that as Perron points out don't have a ton of success.
As much as everyone craps on the oilers' depth, if you look around at other teams in the league, having the ability to deploy Perron and Pouliot as 2nd and 3rd line options is actually pretty decent. Even if Hall is great, we can still use our depth effectively, and thus deploy him more effectively. |

Spats is a decent guy. You should hear his views on the Sens though.
