I'm not saying that, it's just that there are some people that want him fired since the day he started, and they jump on every occasion like a bunch of flies on a pile of poop. It's pathetic. - stinger67

what the hell are you talking about - DoubleDown
Anybody who mentions that Desharnais needs to go, is ridiculed. And the only defense that the opposing party can muster is that there are bigger problems.. |

right but i don't think that should blind us to his faults or anything he does wrong. there have been a lot of brutal performances this year. too many, i think we can all agree. he shouldn't completely escape blame for that. |

oh. i agree that whittling this team's problems down to one person/issue is dumb, there are clearly several issues but yeah, it's hard to have dialogue/debate when every time you criticize a player or coach it's met with "he's hardly the only problem..." |

Horrible powerplay, can't score goals, horrible preparation for games etc.
Misuse of Desharnais all season etc. Not a great coach |

horrible PP, can't score goals, that stuff i get. it was a problem last year too. but the team excelled because they played pretty tight defence and limited the great scoring chances. that's been the biggest difference i see. i loved the Gorges trade at the time because i thought it meant the D was going to get younger, but in hindsight it was a terrible move. they could have waited to trade him. |

I guess nobody expected his cap space would be used to sign older, pooptier defensemen. |

Yeah, those cap-managing trades seemed great capology-wise, but they're basically already thinking about next year. |

dt9999 would have loved a Markov-Gonchar pairing. |
