No, the important thing is that nobody criticize Berube, without being completely objective and pointing out all the wonderful things he has done.

The only thing that matters is that they win. I agree Mason probably gives them a better chance win with no other factors in play, but the back-to-back stats are troublesome. Mason has done well in some back-to-backs in the past, but he's also struggled in some.

There's solid math behind the situation, if one wants to disregard it, that's on them It doesn't make the math invalid. It means they're choosing to ignore tangible evidence suggesting that a particular situation often gives poor results.

All I have to say is that if Mason cant start in back to back games we may as well trade him now and get a goalie in here who can. (frank) the math. Mason is better than Emery. Its not like we are 70 games in to the season and Mason has played 68 of those games.

Two very important points need to be made here. It's not about not being able to criticize Berube. It's about criticizing him for pretty much every move he makes. There is no objectivity there.

And where you go wrong here is stating that anyone thinks the math is invalid. The point is just because the coach decides to go away from what the math says, and start Mason in back to back games. Doesn't make him a dunce and desperate. Although to be frank, I wish some of the players would show some desperation.
