Depends if the Ducks show up with their A game or not. Flyers playe a lot better last night but I largely thought the Sharks played a very poor gamegame and it nearly cost them. |

I truely believe thst if you add McDavid or Eichle to this core and prospect pool, deconstruct the remainder of the roster, we will have a monster of a cup contender over the next three years |

Ha!
Believe it or not, for whatever reason, I always liked "You Could Be Mine" the best from them
Don't hate me, people - AllInForFlyers
I dont really like GNR but I have always felt You Could Be Mine is their best song..It's the primary song by them that I can hear and I don't want to turn it off at any point. |

Take Coby out to the woodshed, and don't let him come back. He has been horrible all season, and not just since his injury. Go back to the previous line up that they were using before the 5 day break, and maybe the team can get back on track. The forwards seem to love playing hot potato with the puck, and they shoot, just to shoot. The crease is always clear for the opposing goalie, so I guess where, and when they shoot doesn't matter much. I also think that they like playing in their own end. Nothing like not clearing the puck, and turning the puck over. It seems like the players are only motivated during a contract year, or if the Olympics are coming up. Oh, and when they play the Pens. Other than that, it's just another night off for the gang. Sorry Mason, your totals are going to stink this season. It's not your fault. The team needs a big forward that isn't afraid to go to the net, and a defender that can clear the crease. Until then, our team is weak, won't go to the net, and lets a crowd hang around in the crease. Can we just fast forward to the off season? They are just too painful to watch right now.
I wonder how the team will find a way to lose tonight? To watch the game or not to watch the game. |

as do i. i firmly believe the d prospects are going to completely change this team. maybe not all of them, but at least 2, perhaps 3.
if you're going to miss, now's the time. nobody remembers or cares that the hawks sucked for decades before kane arrived. same thing, but for less time in pittsburgh with crosby et al. it's time to make up for 2007. |

Mentally, thats where im at. THe hidden beauty is that that kid doesnt hsve to shoulder the weight of the frachise. G is still your bonified star. This allows (the kid) to develop appropriately. For those worried that it would be wasting G & Vs primes, i counter that they would still be very good players, if their level of play falls off and would be a very stron second line, if that were the case ( in all probability) |

that's a good point about G. he wouldn't be like one of those other guys coming into to a team with nothing. there are some good pieces here now, and some good ones on the way. he could slide in and learn on the job. |

You know that second line would be more expensive than any first line in the league. But I gotcha |

You could do a minor rebuild by moving Coburn Read and Rinaldo for picks. Buyout RJ in July. I believe the Vinny situation straightens itself out if he's seriously talking about retiring early just to get out of here. Let the D we have develop. |
