Didn't hear who Rinaldo said.
I love Eminem, myself. He's grabbed by the pubes and dragged me through some rough times. No joke. Sounds corny, but I'm a music guy, so music is one thing I turn to after, ya know, I get cheated on.
His latest album is just fantastic. Great lyrics on that record. - Giroux_Is_God
doesnt sound corny to me at all. i get the music thing i do. and i wont deny that, despite it not being my musical genre at all, eminem has legitimate talent. however, he rubs me as a total jackass. |

I'm a music guy, so I generally steer clear of rap - aflyerpower8
Well then.
I don't listen to rap either, but his lyrics are pretty powerful, and he actually uses real instruments (generally) for his tracks to rap over.
I like to say if you truly like music, you can find something to latch onto in any sort of music there is. Whether it's a catchy beat, good lyrics, a nice piano, a cool bass riff...you can find something to latch onto and say "I like that".
This is my mindset, so I listen to everything. Yes, I'll even listen to a few dubstep songs. |

My tongue was in my cheek on that one. I agree with you until the dubstep; you lost me at dubstep |

i used to have the aforementioned mentality, where i would turn away from anything that wasnt your typical guitar, drums, driven deal. but i have widened my palate considerably. rap/hip hop will just never be my type of thing largely for the lyrical content/the people performing it |

You bet.
I'm not looking for Reader to go bar down there like Datsyuk. I'm just looking for him to get a good shot on net from inside the circle toward the center of the ice.
You're not an idiot. You and everyone here knows the drill. Get a shot there, and who knows? Maybe it finds a hole, generates a rebound for a trailer. Just gather the pass and get a shot off like a 17 year old could have done. - Giroux_Is_God
Exactly -- just want to see them execute the fundamentals, then see what happens
Really hard to win when you make it harder than the game already is

Don't get me wrong. Lil Wayne's (frank) female doges get money mantra and Waka Flocka Flame's screaming SMOKE ME UP bullpoop is horrendous. Embarrassing. I stay away from mainstream stuff generally. |
