I dont see why that couldnt be tried for a game or two. The goof has tried everything else and beat the horse of hall-nuge-eberle, but no-no opportunity for yak to succeed.

I like the Oiler roster. They are missing a center, DMan and goalie. I know it is an obvious statement. But, it is not unlike the Islanders over the last few years. Finally, Garth Snow just went the opposite direction and traded away a boatload of draft picks to try and fill the holes. The Vanek deal was a disaster. But the others like Boychuck and Leddy looks very good.

I would think that nobody would trade a #1 this year if they have any shot at a lottery pick in a great draft year. But, what kind of a return would you get if you gave up your #1 this week? Hypothetically it could be a monster deal.

But, I still would not to give up that pick.
