Some good news.
I agree with you about that poised defenseman would fix half of the on ice issues with this team. - Dangles13
Good news indeed! |

Guys like Pitlick look promising. Chase, Yakimov and a few other guys are trending to be bottom 6 imo. Defense is still a barren wasteland, we need to start hitting with guys like Musil and Simpson. - Dangles13
Oesterle has apparently looked solid and Simpson is just in his first pro seasoj. Musil has at least looked solid the past two years. I'd bet that we hit with one of those three and that Gernat moves on to another organization to have a career. |

I'd love to see Pitlick work out as an energy presence on the Hall-Nuge line.
Hall-Nuge-Pitlick
Perron-Draisaitl-Eberle/Yakupov
Pouliot-Arco/Yakimov-Chase
Hendricks-Gordon-Pinizotto
could well be an economical and hard-competing forward group in a year or so. It all depends as always on getting the D in order. I feel like Klefbom, Marincin, Schultz and Fayne (in no particular order) could be solid 4-6 defenders pretty soon. What will become of Ference, Petry and Darnell Nurse? And who will our top pairing be? |

Yeeaah that's what derailed it.... - Frank.Grimes
He was a good minor league producer until he (frank)ed his back up. If he never (frank)ed his back up he could be a third liner putting up 30pts a season. We'll never know. |

I read that with a Jamaican accent.
Actually hoping to go there in January.
My sis lives in Nanaimo, it's not too bad there. I always thought it was not much more than a strip of malls and car dealerships. |

With the uncertainty surrounding Petry's contract and Schultz's...talent, I feel like it's time to swing a deal for a right-shooting dman.
Maybe one of Marincin/Klefbom goes as part of a big package deal and a comparably promising but younger prospect who's a right shot comes back with the main piece. |

All those guys are doing the right stuff and I see it the same as you, maybe 1 out of 3. We need to start producing more out of the 2nd and 3rd rounds. |

Pretty accurate, I'd say. Kinda a dead end for people in my demographic but it's good for those looking to settle dwn. Can't wait to get out myself |

There is some nice areas outside of the "highway strip"
I grew up in CR so Nanaimo was always just some malls and poop, not that CR was anything at all. |

too bad Yak's got the yips. He did a pretty decent job being aggressive with Kane on the boards and almost got rewarded by it.
Nice 2 on 1 by two of the youngsters |

So if we draft McDavid, do we trade Nugent or Draistal eventually? |
