Who are the Bruins even looking at getting rid of? Haven't followed anything they have done this year. It would be pretty hard for them to take on a 6 million dollar salary. - Frank.Grimes
Maybe Lucic who makes the same money. Soderberg would be sweet but he is leading their team in scoring. Loui Eriksson and one of their young d? |

They have some good pieces but if we are give ebs I want Hamilton + and that doesn't make sense for them. - Yeti1181
That's kinda what I was thinking. I wasn't sure if they are actively shopping anybody or not. I would hope if we move one of our forwards it is a defenseman coming back. |

Does Chara have a NMC? He's not getting younger and a young player like Ebs would make a lot of sense in the long term. - Jeropotato
He does but he already has his cups so maybe just maybe... |

Would they move Lucic? Is he not doing good this year? I don't see us getting Chara Hamilton or Seidenberg so who's left on their d? Krug and who else? I could see maybe they want to move Marchand's 4.5 million contract. |

Well it's moves like that that help keep teams from the rebuild process. Boston wi s that trade in 2 years and it helps us now and in the long term if he can help Marinci , Klef and/or Nurse develop. |

Lucic has 12 points in 26 games but he is usually streaky and Krejci has been hurt most of the year. |

Brad Marchand and Torey Krug - Reveen
Would that be enough from Boston's side or would we have to throw in something else? I like Marchand's game better than I like Eberle's that's for sure. Don't know much about Krug other than their one playoff run. Small power play guy. How's his d? |

They need to resign next year:
Reilly Smith
Gregory Campbell
Dan Paille
Carl Soderberg
Matt Fraser
Adam McQuaid
Torey Krug
Matt Bartkowski
Dougie Hamilton
and few others.
Maybe Chara and one of the guys they cannot resign might make sense for us. |

Hmm is it better to have Lucic or Eberle? Lucic is probably better suited for the West. I think I would do it but then we would have to dump Perron for a RW or shift him over to the right side. I think he prefers LW though. |

Just do it and don't worry about the adjustments. |

The only real problem I'm having with it is that it kinda seems like a lateral move. Not acquiring a C or D which are our 2 main areas of need. |

We could always use a bit more size and toughness though and Lucic provides that. |

Already looks tougher to play against and that is with 1 change. |
