Are you saying Carolina would have to throw in a 3rd?

Seguin
Johanson
Hall
Tareaenko
Is my ranking. But I'd take hall over tarasenko 10 out of 10 - Bieksa#3
Seguin
Hall
Johanson- up until last year everyone thought he was a bust
Tarasenko- sheltered by a solid team |

Smith vs Edmonton .926%
Smith vs Calgary .826%
This happens with every team it seems. - Iggysbff
Not sure if you're crediting the Flames offensive abilities, or saying goalies just suck vs Calgary. |

Seguin vs Johansen is a wash if you ask me, you're just mad I traded you Seguin for Johansen and they're now saying he's better.
As for Hall vs Tarasenko, I haven't watched Tarasenko enough to give an opinion on him. I will say this about Hall though, great young player but he struggles on the defensive side of the game at times from what I've seen. |

Anytime this stomach flu wants to be over with it won't be soon enough. I've spent more time going to the bathroom the the oilers have skating back to their bench after a goal against |

Did u catch the tsn quiz last night?
Johanson
Seguin
Hall
Tarasenko
Who would you build a team around.
Mackenzie said he didnt know so he contacted a bunch of GMs
He said Johanson was first just barely ahead of seguin
Who was well ahead of tarasenko. And that hall was last by a huge margin
Surprised me. - Bieksa#3
Skinner would be up there if not for the concussion issues early. |

Ya I saw that, centres hold a lot more value because it's a harder position to play and every successful team has that one two punch down the middle. - LeftCoaster
Again, I find that argument a bit rich in regards to those four players. You're talking about 2 wingers, a guy who mostly plays on the wing, and Centre who just became a top 6er this year.
There's a good argument that centre is a harder position than winger, but none of those guys are exactly Patrice Bergeron... |

The other thing against hall is he tries to do it all himself and not use his mates. |

Skinner might be up there if he were about twice as good as he actually is. Skinner is a nice player but doesn't belong in a convo with Seguin |

I feel like Hall has generally fallen ass backwards into most of his success.
How much more dangerous can he become as a player if he gets in a good situation and dedicates himself to rounding out his game... |

Doug Weight, Tony Amonte, Alexei Kovalev, John Vanbiesbrouck, three first round draft picks (1993, 1994 & 1995) and $12 million. |

The rangers picks those years ended up being Sundstrom, Dan Cloutier, and JS Giguere (traded to Hatford) |

It's obviously a subjective argument, that said, we're talking about 22 yr old kids here. And, we're talking about hindsight here. Patrice Bergeron didn't have breakout year until he was 21, just like Seguin and Johansen.
Seguin is a natural center whether he's playing the wing or not, I think it's fair to say he's a much better center than either Hall or Tarasenko could ever be. |

Yes that's part of his game but I'll say Seguin and Johansen have a higher ceiling in terms of offensive output, Seguin for sure. Time will tell. |

At this point, do we pick up Lindback from the waiver wire to see if his 6'6" frame can stop pucks better than a 6'2" or 6' guy can? |

Hall is no slouch there either- if the team was winning- his points would be there... 10 losses in a row and shotty play from the entire team skews his totals this season- but he will finish near the top unless injury forces him out for a long period of time. |
