Hall isn't Messier, but he does need to do more in other areas. Jultz is muffcabbage, Eberle is injured. Jultz should not be apart of the core. Eberle needs to get healthier. But, yes, both of those guys need to be doing a bigger impact.

This to me just screams that we don't need to hold our best players accountable. Just the secondary guys need to be held accountable even though there the ones busting there a$$es night in and night out while they watch Schultz and hall give up brutal turnover over and over. Hall is a selfish player and should be nowhere near a leadership role or expected to hold anyone else accountable. And Schultz should be sitting in the press box until he actually gives a sh!t about playing the game of hockey.

And I'm all for making the right changes. I'm not saying anyone should be protected. I'd trade anyone for the right price. But the deals being talked about are ridiculous.

And thats what blows my mind. They need to throw there ego aside, when you (frank) up own it. He (frank)ed up with Niki. OWN IT. We played arguably our best period of the year when Niki was out.

No but we need actual NHL centres. I would guess that a couple mid round picks, say a 3rd and a 4th gets you a guy like Kyle Brodziak which would've helped this team.

I would rather Marincin in the AHL, keep him away from this garbage and learn to play at a high level. I'd say bye to Draisaitl and Klefbom as well.

Yes and no. How much more do people expect Hall to be doing everything for everyone? It's a team game and this team isn't producing. Yes Hall needs to be more of a leader. Yes Eberle needs to backcheck more and also finish his shots. Yes, Jultz needs to be sitting in the presser until he realizes that his NCAA skills aren't working in the NHL.

How much influence is Purcell doing? Yakupov is still receiving limited ice time. Gazdic was given his roster spot. Perron is getting frustrated. Let him go out there for key moments rather than letting the guys that aren't producing be on the ice.

Nikitin should've be receiving so much ice time. Why isn't Fayne and Petry being leaned on more? They are more capable than a combination of Aulie-Niktin-Ference-Jultz.

The continued protection of Lowe baffles me. We constantly hear about "accountability" yet the one constant from 2006 to now, Kevin Lowe, continues his mystifying run. Would it make the team better? No, but it would sure as hell lend some action the usual words we hear. In any other business organization, any President with such am abysmal track record would have been turfed and blackballed long ago. At this point, he's pretty solidly entrenched in the losing culture that Edmonton has. Want the fans to stop being angry? Then show us that when you say "accountability" that it has more substance than a mustard fart.
