He is. But it is also juniors. He will have an adjustment period. If you can lessen the defensive work at center I don't see it as a bad thing. I didn't say I wouldn't move him but i would wait untill things shake out before just moving Couturier.

I think your prediction is a likely scenario on where they finish. But I'll disagree with the latter. I think the Flyers have a strong core to build on. You can still get some good players drafting in that position. They have some good prospects. And I trust Ron Hextall. The future is bright if you ask me.

I agree that it could, but not without a coaching change. The 06-07 to 07-08 turnaround was 39 points, and they didn't even get a first rounder who made the team as an 18 year old like they might in the 2015 draft.

This team doesn't get blown out but you can tell they just don't have enough to finish off games. Weather it is scoring or defensive capability. A 3-1 third period or even 4-1 lead is not safe.
I have said it before... I want them to be good..but they are they not. I hate missing the playoffs ( especially if the Leafs make it) but this is the year to have that lottery pick.

I just dont think they will end up being in the bottom 10. Even though they arent all that good, they still have talent and should improve enough this season to challenge for a playoff spot. No way Couts, Read and even Vinny continue on this horrid pace all season long, among others. Hexy will need to be a seller at the deadline in order to get a top 5 pick IMO.
