I miss the Sabres having a true rivalry. Kind of liking this Bolts one that seems to be developing, though. |

I don't have a problem if they keep Stewart but only for the right price. If the Bruins or Sens want to overpay go for it. I know Hoffman and Stone were mentioned before for Stewart. - SABRES 89
At this point I want to keep him. Someone who should be able to net 20, and doesnt mind fighting lucic. |

What about Pysyk , Hodgson and the Islanders second for Eberle. - Maximum Signal
That seems pretty painless on our end. I dont love eberle as a player. I wouldnt go any more than that and i think that deal gets beat out by at least one of the 28 other teams. Plus, if we did it now, hodgson is the only player playing in buffalo and we would be replacing his zero production with eberles. Plus, i think edmonton fans would view hodgson as gagner v2.0, which wouldnt exactly calm the natives. |

I like him. I think murray likes him. Hes getting moved unless he can get extended before the deadline though. Hes gonna have awful numbers unless he starts piling up points in bunches real soon, and i bet we still get a second and a b prospect for him. Wonder what his agent is telling him. Sounds like hes exactly the type of player that gets squeezed in ufa when the cap doesnt go up. The best ufas will always get theirs, the second and third tier guys, well, just have to see whats left. |

give it a couple years. I just hope we dont weed out some of the face punchers. I like Deslauriers and McCormick.......we need to keep some of that grit. In the Regier era we would have traded them for.........well........Hodgson, i guess.

IMO Eberle is someone worth overpaying to get
and how does snow still have his job? - homiedclown
Not a fan of Eberle myself. Dont think hes the type of winger we need. Then again I put a heavy premium on two way play. Ideally, for me, its a big body skill winger like Hossa. Dont sleep on Hossa defensive game.
No, Im not saying I want Hossa, we just need a winger like him. |

Stewart has been what his entire reputation has been since he left Colorado. Not interested. Time to move on. |

Nice play by Grigo given what the D was offering but that's no NHL game |

Disagree. Stewart Hasn't produced numbers on the score sheet, but he has contributed. He's one of the first guys to stick up for the youngins - Or anybody else - when he's on the ice with them.
It would be better if he could get on the scoresheet too |

We were going to go yesterday, but decided against it and decided to drink on the beach one more day. Turned out to be the right call. Plus, we were on Anna Maria Island, which is about an hour drive away, and we needed to catch a flight early this morning. - buffalofan19
I'm retiring to AMI in 18 or 20 years. Gotta get Two chillies through college and replenish the coffers. The 17 year old is looking at a college with a $56k tuition bill annually.
But AMI is heaven. |

Im not talking about just points. There are literally games, like Hodgson this year, that he is completely invisible. Same goes for Foligno. And by invisible I mean barely contributing. I understand that players will be invisible some games (im keeping the slack to 5 out of 82 at the most), but Stewart has been so for at least half of them so far...
I dont put a premium on him sticking up for his teammates when something goes down. What good is paying a player just to do that? I want more. |

Honest assessment. The d was terribly positioned, very slow and a complete sieve.
I'm rooting for Grigo, and think he will do well. But not based on that clip. |

At least 15% of the private schools in the northeast have those numbers in their price tags. If they try to market themselves as elite.
That's kinda like a hockey player saying they're a sniper. |

There are very, very few wingers out there with Hossa's defensive game and scoring ability. If you want a very good to elite scoring winger, you're most likely simply going to have to live with his defensive shortcomings. |

Besides Ennis and Girg. I can say that about most of the team. Like Risto and Zadorov.. Still would like Myers traded for a equal forward or a powerball selection for McDavid |

The way you worded it... "Besides Girgs and Ennis I can say that [what I was saying about Stewart] about most of the team. Like Risto and Zads"
Sounded like you were calling out Risto and Zads with "rest of the team" following the context. |
