Thanks! There were some posters in the last few months here saying how the East is going to change a lot, with the coming up of Tampa, Buffalo's (hopeful) bright future, etc, that these two teams will be contenders for years to come.

And about the bolded, they did just take a center #2 overall this past draft.

ah i am sorry i did forget about sam. even so, its been proven that you need depth to win in todays NHL. just look at where we(tampa) are now. we have so much depth we can play jonathan drouin on the 4th freakin line and nobody bats an eye. to compete in this division in the coming years you're going to need great depth. Detroit rolls 3 outstanding lines and a 4th decent one. montreal does the same, as does boston and even to a lesser extent toronto. Tampa can roll all four at you and just dominate at times. thats why I'm saying two more years for you guys. sadly in this division two scoring lines just won't cut it.

We are hoping Joel Armia is that guy. Dont forget about Grigorenko. I know he was into kind of a joke. But both guys are playing very well in the AHL right now.

Peca was one of my favorites awhile back and he reminds me of him... Just constantly moving and hitting people with some scoring mixed in. Girgs is already my favorite of this bunch of players.
