Edm is full of d prospects, with nurse pushing to be in the lineup already. It's OBVIOUS what the oilers need to add to their roster. It's not exactly easy to aquire. - edmhatescal
This is what oilers don't get. 18 year old defencemen should not be in the nhl, especially on the worst team in the league. |

Tanking is the worst move. The Oilers are damaged. Another season of being a cellar dweller is the last thing this team needs. They need to learn how to win. Another talented forward prospect isn't going to help this team. They need to do something more. I suggested Trading Eberle or Hall for Burrows+. The Oilers needs some heart and someone who knows what it takes to win. At this point all their players have very low value. - hankthetank
They have zero value. RNH and Eberle would purely be salary dumps. They gave them the worst contracts and now are stuck with them. |

Another 20YO LHD prospect will help EDM immensely. Nurse, Klefbom, Marincin don't mean anything. The NEXT one though! |

Hall for Ballard, Raymond, and a 3rd perhaps? |

Oilers would be lucky to get that return for Hall right now. Guy is way too predictable. Tries to go end to end every time he gets the puck and either hits hit and goes flying into the end boards or shoots it wide. Enjoy that contract of his. |

I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with any of this Hall commentary...only with the fact that he seems to always end up on the receiving end of, be it clean or dirty, these monster hits. |

They don't have any 18 yr old defensemen in the league
They sent Nurse and Klef back to the juniors and minors for the past 2 years... |

it was discussed on the thread two games into the season. Been going around for a while now even though some on our thread doubted it till now. |

He is reckless but if he is predictable and a poopty player then there are a lot of players in this league who should be incredibly ashamed of themselves for allowing him to score at an ppg rate the past few seasons. |

Like I said, I wasn't speaking to anything that was said other than the fact that I've noticed he tends to get wrecked a lot, both on legal and/or illegal hits. Dating back to when Hamonic destroyed him in that Memorial Cup game. |
