It's been slow going for Okposo. He's been inconsistent. I don't mind him with Nielsen who he has some obvious chemistry with. Some Isles fans would disagree with me but I don't mind him on another line. - Cptmjl
His goal scoring has been inconsistent but his production is right on par as last season. The goals will come. Not worried about him....yet |

How does 17 losses feel? Canucks won't lose that many all year. - Scooby_Doo
uhhh...we're 1/3 of the way through the year, and even if the canucks play at the same level the rest of the year that works out to 21 losses.

Canucks are rebuilding and they're a western conference powerhouse and one of the NHL's elite teams. With Chicago and LA taking steps backwards this season the west is there for the taking. And if you can win the west the Cup is pretty much a gimme. The west is so much better than the east. |

I don't dare about winning the Cup, just as long as we win the Presidents Trophy. |

Why do the oilers insist on having to win this year? They're not gonna win the cup. Makes no sense to me. There's two generational talents coming out. They just need to keep going with the rebuild |

That would be amazing, but I would settle for a Cup to compliment the recent President's Trophy's. A Stanley Cup says "We played good and had some lucky breaks against 4 different teams over the course of a couple months." A President's Trophy says: "We were the best team in hockey over the full course of a season against EVERY other team in the league." President's Trophy is definitely the hardest trophy in sports to win so it would be a great testament to the hark work the Canucks have put in. But at this point I still think the President's Trophy would be miraculous. I'd be OK with just the Cup this season then next year when some of the guys are in their prime win the President's Trophy AGAIN. |

I love how Isles fans are already cocky about a team that has been a disgrace for years; CHILL. Snow w and/or the Hockey Gods will soon find a way to screw up your season. We're all waiting. - jackoc150
You mean like having 3 top 6 dmen out? Cuz that already happened won both games without Boychuck viznosky and harmonic so far |
