I would call NO and see what it would take to get Drew Brees, yes his coming to the end of his career but the guy can still play and imagine what he and Watkins could accomplish. You need to get someone in here to take advantage of this defense's window (one that imho will be even better next year with the return of Kiko).

AND NO's windows is probably closed for a while they have a lot of holes even with a great QB.

Kyle and Mario are getting older, Spikes and Hughes are FA's. They might not be better.

They are a Super Bowl caliber defense. With a 3-13 offense. Such a shame

He can retire there..... he not going to win another Super Bowl there and I believe we offer a great opportunity....any reasonable person could see we would be very good with him.

Agreed on the caliber of the defense, Kyle is the guy I could see dropping in production but Mario is having his best year. Spike....ehhh would like to have him back but could live without him. Hughes is the guy they have to keep though, you don't let 26yr D-ends walk that can get to the QB.

How to fix the bills


1) Pry Brees out of NO
2) Sign 2 NFL guards, one very good, one that belongs in the NFL.
3) Find another WR, to kick Woods inside.
4) dump Mike Williams (don't know why he's not been given a chance here)
5) Resign Hughes
6) draft a TE, or try to sign one.

7) Win
8) win some more

They had steve young in the wings in san fran when they let montana go. New orleans has no such player behind brees. Plus itll cost us multiple picks to get him, possibly including our 2016 first.

I would... and more, lets face it with this defense we are in a win now mode.
NO draft choice is going to get you where you need to be next year, or even the year after (That's assuming you could somehow get a top prospect, this year) Even if (big IF) Manual develops it going to take a couple years for him as well, you need an established QB that knows how to win.

If we could aquire Brees we would be right in the discussion as SB Favorites.

I don't know if they would let him go or not, but pretty much any player is available for the right price.....all I'm saying is what's the price?

More than the bills should give up. Look at the cutler trade. He was/is nowhere near an elite level like brees, but he commanded 2 1sts. You'd go 3 years without a first round pick for 3 years of brees. With that being said, no team parts with a elite qb unless they have a young stud ready to takeover. You have to temper expectations for who we could get at qb. Bradford, Stanton, Rg3, Hoyer are all qbs most likely to be available. You can also throw in two outliers in Eli and Cutler. They both have been mentioned as possible cap casulties by either being released or trade.

Trailer Park Boys. Hmm. Never watched any of it..

Sons is fantastic. Like a lot of TV you really need to forgive the holes in the writing but it was a really entertaining series.
