At BB Pub last yr no one gave a crap. Though likely bc foreign D arent as sexy a pick. I thought it was a fantastic coup then and I still do now. And for that reason they should flip Myers - FLflames34
What is BB Pub? I agree this gives you the ability to trade Myers but unless it is a winner of a deal i see no reason not to hold onto him for another year in order to give our minor league guys more time to develop, like McCabe. if we miss out on McEichel and Get Hannafin then trade him at the draft to maximize our return |

Is Weber worth the same package? One top 6 winger, one trade who wants out and a maybe top 4 D. One is much younger, and will be good for longer. I think the salary dump is the only reason it makes it fair to Buffalo - FLflames34
How much does Risto help the Oilers (-Eberle and Perron) right now? Plus Perron never asked for a trade he was pissed after a loss ( as he should be) don't be such a sensationalist. |

Buffalo Brew Pub
Also, I don't think Risto -Perron/Ebs helps the Oilers this season. It helps next year. As I qualified though it was not a serious offer. I agree both Myers and Eberle would be better starting points on a trade. |

I agree that murray is holding him until he gets what he wants. He wants a young top line winger with size and hes not moving him for anything else. Which is 100% correct in my opinion. Plus the tank is still on and bringing in a couple decent roster players could complicate things. Pretty sure its 30th place or bust for now. This whole thing gets a lot more complicated if they have to take hanifin at 3. We need a franchise center- you cant get them in free agency and unless you fall into a seguin trade, you cant trade for them. |

Too bad Darcy didn't trade Vanek and Grigo for Seguin when he had the chance. i guess we could always pass on Hanafin and take Strome, but hopefully we finish last and not have to worry about it. |

I dont see how pitt isnt at least toying with the idea of any forward with some scoring ability. playing either 87 or 71 with stewart would be better than the options we currently have.y |

I like the idea of us gambling on Stewart but only If the price is Low. Very Low. He's been BAD the last couple years. |

Depends on what u mean by "some scoring ability". If your looking for a big foward to playl that power foward role then yes but if you meant that you are looking for a player to be good with the puck, make good passes or score perimeter goals then no. |

He's definetly more of a passenger on a line than he is a driver. |

Since he would play on a line with Geno and Kunitz all He'd have to do is go to the net and pick up the garbage. It might work. |

Eklund: Chris Stewart Could Be on Move Soon - Eklund
The only teams that benefit from a Chris Stewart trade are the ones that unload him onto someone else.
Is there a team still out there dumb enough to trade for him?

Stewart is not in Nolan's dog house, don't know where that's coming from. - SABRES 89
Exactly. This is how rumors get started. If anything I wish they'd resign Leino. They need to do a better job of tanking. Damn you Columbus!!! |
