gm's job to hit the phones
browns cut ties with tate shortly after
look at practice squad players
when your starting 2 rb's go down for a long time, and you tell the fans it's playoff or bust, do something - homiedclown
how much of an upgrade is ben tate over bruce brown and boobie? Id put it even, not to mention those two would alreayd know the play book. Clearly they liked Brown (who I hated actually) as they traded for him, so tate would have been in place of boobie. |

I'm expecting a text update from WR550 regarding the trade. About 90 minutes after the rest of you know from tweeted sources. - Der Kaiser
hahaha, I've seen many times where some of you mention how late that text alert system runs |

I agree
I would have liked to see them dress a 3rd rb to hand the ball off to once in a while and show that as an organization they are going to try to field the best team possible, that's all
hell they had no problem giving choice the ball when they had a healthy jackson and spiller

he wasn't right til the brown game IMO - homiedclown
And there's only so many roster spots. I had no problem with them not picking someone else up.
The running game has left quite a bit to desire this year, but it's not because of the backs we have, it's because of the O-line. Brown and Dixon were just fine. I just wish Brown hadn't fumbled at the goal line against KC. |

I can agree with that. PLus would make sense that they seem to love to run those 3 te sets. So why not pound the ball, id have liked seeing a player in the mold of toby gerhardt |

which goes back to whaley using a second and 5th rd pick to improve the line this season and getting nothing out of it

I am not going to talk out my ass, but I am pretty sure they could have snatched a rb off of a practice squad and plugged him in
the team is a mess, masked by a great D |

I think their top 3 wr's can become a great group if given a decent qb and o line
oh and aggressive play calling

I wish I could hop in my delorion and go back to a time on here when someone argued with me on how Brown had cured all his fumble habbits |

Nobody is immune to it. Freddy fumbles too. And Brown has been a lot better about it than he was. Plus, you can't just put all the blame on him. I don't remember exactly, but it's possible that the KC defense made a good play there to strip the ball. Andrew Luck has had issues with ball security over the last few games. Doesn't mean he's bad player. Just means he's human. Our defense has made good plays at the goal line to force turnovers too. We give them the credit for making the play, so it's just a matter of perspective. |

The differance between the 2 is 1 of them can bounce back from said turnover and with the game on the line I cant think of many id rather have with the ball. THe other however I wouldnt allow to hold a new born baby. Im not saying he lost us the game but the outcome would have been drastically differant. Its not like our offense is so great we can give away touchdowns. |

Reinhart and a 1st seems legit. I mean two top 2 players for a guy who wouldnt score 30 at spinners.
On the plus side I didnt know Carolina fans knew of any hockey players
We dont have any numbered lines |
