Its hard to let go of your main pieces when they are the only ones that put up points (regardless of age) But im aware my main trade assets are older guys and it doesn't help me. My team is horrendous. Obviously I came into this season with high hopes. And actually made some really good moves IMHO.

But that's because I was simply trying to stay competitive.

I realize I need to make drastic changes.

Its just hard to try and overturn a team, losing all your best players and hoping your young guys will acutally develop into something.

Scares me to give away my only point getters for unproven talent.

I totally understand, but you really have no choice IMO. Sticking with your few decent vets has gotten you last place, might as well try to trade all of them them to try and find the next Tarasanko, F.Forsberg, etc.
