I see what you're saying. I'll admit, I've never been a fan of his. JVince was in here beating the Stewart drum for years. I didn't like the idea of trading for him then, and I didn't like when it happened for the most part either.

His temper tantrum today just proved to me he's not the kind of guy I want around my young and impressionable talent.

sure guys like Stafford and Benoit may get moved....possibly even a goalie....but Stewart and Meszaros are the two guys i expect the fetch the Murray anything of value at the deadline.

He is a complete player. Just because he doesn't hit doesn't mean he doesn't use his size. Where he benefits from how tall he is is his wingspan. The best evidence of that was on the play in the 1st period tonight to prevent a breakaway. He's an effortless skater, has offense to his game, and isn't a complete mess in his own end.

I'm not sure if anyone else had the pregame stuff on, but they were talking about MacLean getting fired in Ottawa. They ended up talking about how Karlsson is impossible to coach and how he refuses to play defense. So when the "Karlsson was drafted later and is a better player" discussion comes up, it's not accurate.

He is a complete player . He has learned to use his reach and positioning to control oppposing players . Before he kept getting called for stupid penalties when he checked like you insist he should . He does not get the non calls Chara does.

He's one of the few guys that if they just walk away at the end of the year, I won't care. Meszaros, Stewart, and Staff all have some value to them. While they're not all going to get 1st round picks, there is some value there. I think I would give someone a 3rd rounder to take him at this point.
