Sorry but incorrect IMO, Kassian is playing well with the Nuks and Eberle is a goal scorer. If you have a chance to get Eberle you take it. Hodgson stinks as does Stafford.

IMO, the Oilers tank for McDavid and then at the deadline they move Eberle for a big return and add to what they have along with McDavid.

Stafford is exactly the winger a guy like Crosby can use. For the life of me I can't figure out why that trade was never made by Pitt.

Crosby is a guy that can brings games of Stafford to the next level.

I've seen mocks where Connor is slotted 10-15. Ahl sounds like an intriguing prospect. What about Daniel Sprong or Paul Bittner with the Isles and Blues picks? They could also trade one of those picks but not both imo.

Yeah Connor could go top 10. He has that much potential. I really like Sprong too he has that wow factor but he is pretty raw and semi one dimensional at the moment. I like the potential though. I think we need to put an emphasis on players with that elite skating ability and speed.

That was the offer from the Sabres when we got him last year, Hoffman and Stone for Stewart. Not saying that is being talked about now, but it was before.

Crosby can make just about anyone "exactly the winger" he needs really.

As I said, Stafford isn't a problem on the roster, it's the fact that he's one of the highest point scorers thus making him "1st line" material that shows the team has issues.

I dont mind that idea but Depends where the blues and isles picks end up. if they are in the teens then I say keep them for sure. If you could get a Girgensons type player in the teens that could turn pro immediately, then I would rather go that route.
