assuming reinhart is one, you have 1/2 your centers
a second line winger in ennis


that leaves 4 slots where they need difference makers IMO

That's not entirely true. That's what I love about a hockey season. Within the season there are many fun moments. Win streaks, fights, rivalries, controversies. I think your statement is much more true in the NFL.

. We were talking about it here before, but while the defence is deep it still lacks a strong offensive presence (i.e point producer, powerplay qb). Either guy at 3 or 4 is more than capable of being that for us on the top pair.

Im not sure i'd consider it a failure, disappointment for sure but i think it only becomes a failure if Timmy does nothing after the fact. I have to assume that upper management has a contingency plan if they can't land McEichel.

we never recovered from losing our top 2 centers. After that we should have started a rebuild but we still had a decent team. That was our problem.

It's not ideal but if you can somehow walk away with Hanifin and for the sake of argument (please no poop storm) Nugent-Hopkins, I'd say that's one helluva plan b.

Again we have the up front talent of Girgensons, Ennis, Moulson, Reinhart, Armia, Grigorenko.

Not to mention two first round picks we could dangle for guys like James Neal, whom Nashville just acquired.

Also It seems to be working since Nashville is T-6th best in the NHL right now.
