The goaltending wasn't bad tonight, but Enroth gave up 3 goals so it's not like he was completely lights out. The offense just happened to put more in the other net (3 of 4 from one line).

That in and of itself is amazing when one thinks about it.

It's been almost 30 games.

Its been this way for 30 years. i remember sauve and edwards splitting the vezina, barrasso had one, miller had one, hasek had six. Puppa, roloson, fuhr, malarchuck, biron, enroth- when is the last time we had a goalie that sucked? Its like a goddamned birthright here. I thought after miller left we would give up 4 a game. We certainly give up enough shots. Nope. Doesnt matter which nut job we put in net (theyre all crazy) results are the same.

He wasn't bad tonight, but he needed help in order to get the W. Though of course it mainly came from 1 line, as it has during this entire stretch. 7 of the 11 total points for the Sabres tonight came from Ennis, Moulson and Girgensons.

Their gaa is terrible because they're under gun the majority of the time.

They're aren't elite by any stretch but what they are is in the convo for that 12-20ish in the league.

The goaltending is sufficient enought for a playoff team. So it's definitely not the problem. Other than a few games by each of them (Neuvirth at the beginning of the year and Enroth just before this hot stretch), they've both been as good as we could hope for. With the right team in front, they could get the job done. Corey Crawford is the perfect example of that.

The way they're playing I can't believe Murray said he can tell you 100% that he hasn't gotten a call from other teams about their availability.

Mike Weber still sucks but I only sat 2 rows from the ice.

Trivia. 7 sabres have had last names that begin with the letter v. Ill give you claude verrett because i dont remember him. The other 6 are not hard if youve watched the sabres for more than a few years.
