Ladarius Webb who i played against in college when he was at Nichols State (only reason why I know of him) and then their first rounder Jimmy Smith from Colorado were two of them.

That team lived off of Ray Lewis's final year and a strong Ray Rice campaign that year.. just like Seattle lived off of Marshawn and their D to win a superbowl.

Wilson won in the playoffs. Flutie was another mediocre player put on a pedestal here.

Then you have the likes of Roethlisberger, Rivers, Ryan, and Luck.

Then there is that muck... just the Cutler, Stafford, Newton, Wilson, Flacco, Dalton, Romo, and E. Manning where you just NEVER know what you are goign to get on Sundays.

Not arguing you have to be elite at every position. My point was that we don't have what I consider to be quality CB's.

And without googling.. Didn't Baltimore have a few quality CB's over the years ??

I don't know. Just asking.. I think the overall D could cover a lot of mistakes anywhere else..

Brees is trying to do too much again this year just like he did in 2012.. he is throwing a ton of picks again.. but in 2013 and 2011 he was KILLING it... it just depends on how much pressure he feels to have to win a game by himself on Sundays IMO.

I do agree on Luck though... I think that he is in a group of his own between these two.

If we somehow add either Eli or Cutler and upgrade are O line in the draft/FA I can see us being a team that can make a run for the superbowl.

I would have to echo JVince regarding Cutler. No doubt he has talent but he can lose just as many games as he can win you.

He's had some of the worst defenses ever in Chicago, and a few years ago when they were decent he went to the playoffs.

However Cutler seems to care less and less about winning each year

waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaht? With Urlacher and them under Lovie...?? They were a top 10 D every single season.. they RODE their defense to the SB with Rex Grossman and Thomas Jones at RB!! That is ALL D.

As a Packers fan who has watched Cutler the past like 6 years... DEAR GOD NO YOU DO NOT WANT CUTLER!!! PLEASE GOD NO!!!! He will make you tear all your hair out!!
