Ouch. It wasn't that long ago that Diesel was a bit cheaper.
Diesel is about $1.14 here. Low gas prices are one of the few benefits to living in perpetual winter |

And can someone explain to me how diesel is more then gas. Does it not take less refining? |

At the minute though I'd happily bring in the Liberals. Harper is single handedly killing innovative science and engineering in Canada - lumlums
I'm no Harper fan but he has us in better shape then comparable countries. Can't argue that
I was referring to the Ontario liberals. Have a multi billion dollar scandel and cover up. Double the debt and get back in. Can u say wtf is wrong with the GTA? |

It depends. There are of course other way of making diesel, though I'm not sure of whether biodiesel can be incorported into commonly available diesel fuel yet. I imagine that it may be something to do with taxation (and maybe lower turnover creating less competitive pricing) though I am far from an expert on business... |

Lower demand?
My vw will only use 91 octane. Price difference in Vancouver from 87 to 91 octane is usually 13 to 14 cents, across the border it is often 5 cents or less. nuts. |

It's pretty special.
I don't know whether we are better than other countries though. One thing that has saved us recently however is the quality and relative health of the Canadian banking system relative to other countries; what impact the government has on that though I'm not sure... |

Paul Martin set up the banking system that saved us from financial problems like the US faced. Harper didn't do any of that. |

I went from filling up once a week for 120 bucks to once every two weeks for 95 bucks. Big difference going to diesel. I get over 750kms per tank. |

Scandella having a hearing for hit on Brock Nelson. NHL and its double standards. I don't see any difference in the hit from Scandella and the one from Robidas.

The NHL is a joke with their double standard officiating... I can only imagine how much this would piss off an owner or GM of a team when their player doesn't draw a suspension for injury yet the same thing happens to another player from a different team and there is a suspension.
