Yup took the Jetta TDI sports edition to Calgary on 35 litres of diesel

Pretty unsatisfied with our roadtrip. Let a few points slip away. Nothing an Oilers fan isnt familiar with.

If that is the case, two thumbs up for Fosco (and also thumbs up for VanCity for doing his best in terms of being competitive in the hockey pool).

(again, unless I'm missing something lol). Nice to see in attempting to make everyone as competitive as possible - even if it might take until next year to reap the results, it's still a positive move

Nice gesture, definitely (and as you noted, VanCity got behind the 8-ball right from the get-go, so this will hopefully help him to mitigate some of the drafting/trading issues during the hectic draft portion prior to the start of the pool

P.S.. also noted Gulzy and VanCity have a win-win trade in the works - I think both sides will benefit, as each has quality players going back to the other. Good shoight!

It doesn't seem right that diesel is more expensive but at least it takes you a lot further.

Kind of like that commercial where everyone is hanging out at the gas bar and a guy walks in that nobody knows because he doesn't need to stop in as much.

More money for things you like. Hope the diesel is fun to drive.

And please note that is the same stance I've had ever since the pool started. So I'd like to think there hasn't been any sort of double standard. Again, I just think that the more managers we have that are competitive the better the pool is (and this is coming from someone who has been in the cellar for most of the season thus far )
