I would ask for Eberle. Yaks isn't enough

I hate to slow your roll but Yakupov scored more points as a rookie in a shortened season than Kassian has ever managed in a single season. Also important to note that Yakupov is 2 years younger than Kassian and is playing on a poop team

I think this was always my biggest fear at the bottom of rucks
Figures that the only time I'd end up with a cleat in the face would be catching the corner of a roundhouse kick

Strangely enough I escaped a few years of rugby with zero injuries.

Soccer? 2 x broken nose, broken foot, broken leg, torn ligaments, broken arm......

The Abbotsford Costco is an anomaly. On average, about 15cents less a liter than Vancouver.

The good thing is soccer injuries only last 5 minutes or to the next free kick

I'm just happy all I got from rugby was a broken nose. Have a few friends still playing and most of them have seriously debilitating injuries that are going to be lifelong issues.

Yea, I don't blame the sport so much as the guys who think it is a good idea to keep playing after the first brutal injury. When I hear people say they have had upwards of 10 concussions and they aren't in any serious league there's nothing I can do but shake my head and wonder how the (frank) someone is that stupid

Yup. I've had three concussions (thankfully minor) and they're no fun. Luckily nothing seems to be long lasting, apart from the whole "Leaf fan" thing...

Many rugby players are surprisngly intelligent, especially as rugby (especially rugby union) is typically played by the upper-middle to upper class
- lumlums

Yes I know. Played the game in high school. I wasn't talking about your typical university level rugby player. More your local type. The one who drinks gallons of beer after a match and wonders why no one joins him on a Wednesday night.

But I understand your point about hockey players. I know about 5 guys who do that after a rec league game.

I guess the Leafs should be promoting unsafe hits because it will drive their merchandise sales

Lower demand?

My vw will only use 91 octane. Price difference in Vancouver from 87 to 91 octane is usually 13 to 14 cents, across the border it is often 5 cents or less. nuts.

- hillbillydeluxe

From what I've heard, the higher octane actually results in better gas mileage so it is a wash.
