I know it's crazy how bad they've been, and me still expecting wins.

But I really see them splitting the next 4 at worst and winning 3 is possible.

Would you trade the 1st for OEL or Pietrangelo?

I think if they took VLC back in addition I would do it.
Not for TyMy though.

- Marc D

I'm still going to have to say no to the number one. Maybe after the draft lottery and I know exactly which pick it is. If it's double digits I'd be more willing to move it.

It's not worth it in this top heavy draft class.

I don't even want to think about Myers in a Flyers uniform.

Showcasing Amac and Coburn for the Really Big Deals to come.

LOL. Yes, that must be it! 2 wins in the last 13 games. Unbelievable.

You would have thought we'd all have learned by now about trading picks...

Still, a Devils fan? That's just taking it too far. You're outta control, man.

- wolfhounds

I considered the Pens and the Rangers but I don't wanna take the train into NY and the Pit is 6 hours and the payoff is that stink hole of a city. Pretty much had to go Devils.

Superschennbros, you still sure it's 95%?
- Tomahawk

Do you disagree that Hextall would trade his #1 pick and Umberger AND Lecavalier to the Sabres for Tyler Myers? And that Murray would say no to that deal?

the symbology runs deep here

for instance, the wine represents class inequality or something

the mustache represents being a d-bag

I'm surprised he's not sporting a monocle to symbolize Klinkism.

This is a team where you can use Coburn and Read and extract a solid return. Get a 1st rounder and prospects. Anaheim has some good prospects. Nick Ritchie, Shea Theodore, William Karlsson, Emerson Etem, Nick Sorenson

This would be the type of trade that can bring back value. Anaheim isn't looking to just make the playoffs. They are looking to wn the cup so would be willing to lose prospects if it brought them more playoff depth

- J35Bacher

Hell, take Souray and Bourque's cap-hits back, too, if it helps get Theodore, Pettersson, Rakell and/or a 1st from them.

Giving up drafting a potential superstar (who would be playing on an ELC), to get rid of a couple of contracts you could just buy out, and the chance to add another ruined, head case dman? Sounds like a real winner to me, lol.
- Tomahawk

If you don't think that is a great deal for the Flyers, then you seriously need to reassess your thinking. Even if they don't want Myers, they can flip Myers to another team and recoup a first round pick, and probably more. That deal is a no brainer for the Flyers.

I'm definitely using that in a sentence today.

Nobody's giving you a top-10 pick in 2015 for Tyler Myers.

So yeah, you'd have to basically be sans-brain to make that kind of move just to dump a couple of salaries.

Beat up Devils team. Flyers need to take advantage of that.

We're not dealing our 1st so I'm not all that worried.

The only thing I can say is that I'd prefer to drive an hour and a half to desolation and despondence than 6 hrs. There's really no other justification.

They even have a hockey stick in their logo. Pretty sweet.

That would make my son very happy. He's a Flyers fan but OV is his favourite player.

So, yea....I just received a call from one of our sales guys offering me two section 111 tickets for tonight's game. 1) It's against the Devils....automatically warrants an absolute NO (zZzzZZzzzz) 2) Flyers couldn't beat the Devils' Mighty Mites right now 3) I refuse to support a team that doesn't do what's expected of them.

There's the difference in our opinion. I'm not expecting the Flyers pick to be in the top 10. I'm expecting this team to challenge for the playoffs.

Fairly close. Would be a fun trip to see a game down in DC. It's on my list of things to do...someday.

their schedule seems to soften up as the season goes on, but between a seven point gap to bridge and the general lack of cohesion, I'm not so optimistic.
