The interwebs are pretty educational. That's where I learn all my moves.
But seriously, I thought we talked about my opinion being right 100% of the time.
You didn't even get the year right.

Tough being patient with a 40 year Cup drought, and no ending in sight. But what other choice do we have? Hextall did inherit a mess. I know things can change quickly, but hard to see where that true # 1 dman is coming from. - PLindbergh31
Boston waited over 40 years.
You hope the number one dman is in the ranks. Morin or Sanheim or maybe if you do make a deal for Myers he plays to potential. People forget that Chara wasn't an instant monster. The islanders gave up on him and then Ottawa picked Redden over him.
I just hope that Hextall was part of a build in LA and knows what is needed to bring a cup here. |

I'd like to travel around, see the Flyers in different venues. I didn't realize the Caps played in the mall, but if you're saying I can get an Orange Julius, hang out with pre-teens and watch hockey, then sign me up! - wolfhounds
It's not a BAD arena, it's just weird that they play in the downstairs of a mall with a movie theater right next to it. But the fans are the worst, probably my least favorite NHL fans.
I actually really liked Carolina and Nashville, they had nice arenas and great fans. Although parking in a grass field to see Carolina was odd (that's their parking lot). |

Scratch lecavalier at all costs. Make this guy as uncomfortable as possible. Blast fans and cold air into the cote suite. Make a new nameplate " scratchalier" for his locker. Flyers need to do all they can to make him quit his contract - Just5
i disagree. you don't want that kind of poor treatment for the players. it could be a deterrent for other UFA's signing here. players talk. |

Right now, it's a great destination for free agents.
"So, get this: they actually traded to get me, and then overpaid me for a ridiculous number of years before I ever got to free agent status."
"Yeah, they drafted me really highly and overpaid me directly out of my ELC. Then, they decided to trade me to a much better market to play on a much better team."
"Da, I like to get the money, right. So I go and sign humangous contract, and then I no play but get paid. So then I go and sign with old team for money and do two times get paid." |

Vinny's just the square peg. It's not his fault he's being shoved into the round hole.
Vinny is supposed to be a really good guy. It's just unfortunate that it's not working out here on the ice. I feel almost bad for him.
But he does make $5mil/year, so I don't feel THAT bad for him, however.... |

I didn't even know that about the Caps mall/stadium. Odd.
Did you have to pay to park in grass? What happens if it rains for days in a row? So many questions...
I liked NC, the state, when I was there briefly on business years ago. |

I think the parking was like $10 or so. It's kind of like parking to go to a big music festival, where it's a big gravel drive and then parking on the grass areas between the rows. It was hell getting out of. I guess if it rains you're mudding it. You could probably take a cab if you wanted. |

Tying a huge part of an economy to a fuel source the world has to move away from is sound fiscal policy.
Edit: 6 Canadian teams account for 40% of NHL revenue? Wow. - wolfhounds
think about it. toronto, montreal, vancouver. major, major markets. then think about poop markets like tampa, miami, phx, carolina etc...it makes sense. and all the more reason the league should get out of poop markets and into better ones...and that includes canada. |
