The '82 final, I would have been happy with just 1 win.
Both '94 & 2011 ripped my heart out and buggered my soul.

That's because we were jobbed by Bettman for the most part...tough to take both '94 and 2011.

'82 I was only twelve and while I have been a Nuck fan my entire life it didn't have the impact that '94 and 2011 did.

Lots of tainted cups under Bettman and his merry band of idiots.

Im done with trades now guys. I know some of you want Marleau but I think I'll hold off right now.

I dont want to go too young or I'll be extremely uncompetitave for years. Especially considering some of the guys I've aquired may not even pan out.

So Im going to Keep a few vets around for insurance.

Im Trade Requested out folks.

Agree on '82, and '94 they were the underdogs, coming back from 3-1 down in both the first and final rounds. Don't get me wrong, it was heart ache city, but I still felt good about what they accomplished. 2011 will haunt me for ever.

I was too poopfaced to even have much awareness of game 7, 2011. I think my hand is psychic, because it kept pouring drinks down my throat. Must have seen the blowout coming.

I was 6 during 94. I vaguely remember the run. But I do remember my family and friends Losing our sh!t when Bure scored his infamous goal.

2011. I traveled downtown and watched every game at a bar. It was fun as hell. But it took me until probably this year to REALLY care about this team again.

2011 took every ounce of passion I had in this team and squashed it.

Key to this PP seems to be player movement. They don't create any holes when they are standing in a circle passing around. Have to shuffle the cards or the PKers are content to just sit there and watch the perimeter passes
- bezz44

Even Henrik is just setting up near the left side face off dot hoping the cross crease pass to Vrbata opens up. At the beginning of the season it was, but they're not fooling anyone anymore.

Lack of movement + lack of variety = a PP that is plummeting down the standings.

You forgot to mention the next David Backes ,Zack Kassian
- VANTEL

I think Kassian was still hurting from the knee injury when he went down with his most current injury. He was playing like a beast before he got kneed by whats-his-(frank) (seriously, totally forgot who the (frank) it was). I hope that when he gets back; Kassian, Richardson, and Matthias are all healthy. That line could be make it or break it for us making the playoffs.

Especially with the second line shooting blanks. I have all 3 of them on the pool

2011, Game 7, Chicago.

My dog still can't hear Jim Hughson says Toews' name without the fear of me losing my mind.

That is exactly what it looks like, just hoping that suddenly there will be an option even though everyone is in the exact same place

Me and my buddies played a game of street hockey after to blow off some steam. I ended up breaking several pieces of equipment before being forcefully instructed to sit the rest of the game out

I know, I could care less about Kassian being the next Backes. I can't stand Backes, beside actually marrying Kelly, what has he ever accomplished? I'm just saying that Kassian is getting a bit of a bum rap. I'd be happy if Kassian became the next Bickell.

Bickell does (frank) all during the regular season, but come playoff time he's exactly the kind of player you need to succeed in the Western Conference. That's the kind of player I'd like Kassian to be.

To be honest, the loss in 94 bothered me the most, I loved how that team was built, such great character.

Good idea, keeps some vets around to stay in it and have fun. Don't go full Oilers or you'll regret it.
