The one I try to envision is how the team would look with Weber on D. - Hextall271
Not on that contract and the cost of all those picks... as good a player as Weber is, getting him through those means would have killed them down the road. |

I think about that sometimes. Can you imagine what things would be like had they taken Sanguinetti and then another team like Buffalo or NJ took Giroux?
Wow...... - MBFlyerfan
Just another Holmgren screw up. |

To say Tampa cashed in on him at the perfect time is an understatement |

As a Bolt, he was averaging almost 0.7 PPG.
Since he got traded, he's averaged 0.3 PPG |

Giroux and Coburn are the only players left from a Stanley Cup run a little more than four years ago. |

That's kind of what my worry was. The best case scenario would have been working out a trade. You can't argue though that it would have been much easier to fill out the roster of forwards than to get that true #1 Dman. They're worth their weight in gold. |

I think, with Jimmy Rollins gone, that Braydon Coburn is one of, if not, THE longest tenured athlete in Philadelphia right now. I think Todd Herremans of the Eagles is also up there. |

Is there any way to get a full box score on TSN.ca? I can get "STATS" but that doesn't show penalties. That site is so (frank)ed up now. Not sure why they had to change it. |

No question about it. Would've loved to have seen Weber in a Flyers uniform. |

I agree, it suck now. Box scores can be downloaded at NHL.com or on the team's web site. |

If they remain patient, they could end up with that #1 guy and a roster full of young, productive forwards, all from within.
Trying to rush the process creates the either/or proposition. |

The package that Nashville reportedly wanted was something like:
Couturier + Schenn + Voracek + 2 1sts
Something along those lines. I know those 3 players were involved, may have been 1 1st and some other player/prospect.[/img] |

I always thought he was a product of Tampas system and players surrounding him. I have the same feeling about Johnson too. |
