I always thought he was a product of Tampas system and players surrounding him. I have the same feeling about Johnson too. - GOA88
Do you think the same is true of Coburn in the Flyers' system, but in a negative way? |

The package that Nashville reportedly wanted was something like:
Couturier + Schenn + Voracek + 2 1sts
Something along those lines. I know those 3 players were involved, may have been 1 1st and some other player/prospect. - jmatchett383[/img]
Thats way too much for Weber IMO |

I think Coburn at best is a compliment to a 2nd pairing. So he is having the same problems as Amac for example... So to answer your question, yea I guess so. He is being relied on too heavily. |

Yeah, it's probably Utley and Howard.
But Coburn's not far off. - johndewar
He's definitely the longest (continually) tenured player for both the Flyers and Sixers.
I think that Utley, Howard, Ruiz, and Hamels have been up longer (2006 or before). Not sure about the Eagles. |

That's the issue. It was a king's ransom. But remember, back then, Voracek was pegged as a second-liner and it was Schenn + Couturier that broke the deal. The Flyers refused to include both.
That's what the reports were, anyway. |

Chooch and Hamels are both 2006. Same as Coburn.
You're absolutely right about Utley and Howard. |

I'm so glad that didnt happen. Look at Voracek now and Schenn is really starting to show his potential. Finally |

Coburn didn't come over until 2007, near the TDL. |

I would do the deal if it was Couts, Schenn and a 1st. No way I add Voracek into that deal. |

If the Sixers get the # 1 pick this year, they have to trade it. No room for Okafor with Noel, and Embiid on board. - PLindbergh31
I think they would trade Noel. Okafor is better.
I also could see them trading MCW to try and get another 1st rounder. |

I hope they do. And then 2 years later, they'll trade and Embiid and Okafor to get 1st round picks. 2 years after that, they'll trade the 2 players they picked for first round picks... |

You didn't specify NHL. He's still with the organization. - jmatchett383
THAT IS FALSE. He's not with the Flyers organization. He's with the Phantoms.
If you're saying he works for Comcast Spectacor, you would be correct. However, you are not.
You can try to redress this anyway you want but facts are facts and the fact is that I've spent many hours researching the contracts of players in the Flyers organization and I know what a Flyers contract is and what it's not and Powe does not under any circumstances have what is a Flyers contract. That is irrefutable. If you spend the hours I've spent studying these kinds of contracts then you tell me why you falsely believe Powe has a Flyers contract. |

I did say they were the only "players left." As far as any of us know, Pronger and Tmmonen won't be a player this season.
You know if you feel like nitpicking technicalities instead of just taking it for what the reality is.

You're not putting your facts into context here, and that's why your so-called facts are truly opinions. I'm here to discuss the irrefutable facts, and the fact is that Darrell Powe works under the umbrella of the Philadelphia Flyers organization. I'm right, you're wrong. You can to try paint this any way you want, but these are the facts and they are indisputable.
If you use logic instead of trying to insult me, and stop gussying up the Penis Mightier, you'll come to the same conclusion, and that is that I am right. Your system of contract dispute and penile enlargement devices is flawed, because you don't view it with the proper amount of context. That fact is that the facts are, in facts, factually facts.
In the end, you'll find that Bauer is a far superior stick to Mission. |

And that's why the Flyers didn't make the trade, because they felt they'd have a huge gash in their team. |
