Money can change anybody. That said, so does pressure and Sid has had his share of that. Hard to judge based on anything but results and, in the comparison the Penguin troll was trying to make, we have plenty of those. - tredbrta
Oh I'm not arguing, lol, I'm just saying I know him personally, and he's still the same as he was. Comes home and see's his friends and haven't let fame "ruin" him.
And this is as a Bruins fan, who have fought with Pen's fans for YEARS lol |

I love how people make assumptions of off ice life and locker room life. Nobody knows except players and personnel. Only thing we know are stats, which sid backs up. |

The blues lack of success in the RS talk is old
We know we have had zero playoff success since 2001. Give it a rest - sycsam
You mean you were drawn here and were simply responding to an unprovoked attack by someone who sensed you were reading?
I think you meant "PS". That would be POST SEASON, PLAYOFFS, CUP TOURNAMENT.... you know, when it counts.
Don't worry though. Brodeur/Allen/Elliott will be the answer this year.

You're right. Shouldn't rely on hearsay.... was drawn into the troll speak. Thanks for the insight. Will discount a few of the stories I have heard. Usually take things like that with a grain of salt anyways as everyone has off days and moments.

The penalty call was the correct course of action. Kudos to Toews for giving it a try to continue playing but the Hawks shouldn't take any risks with their players regardless of what he may have told them on the bench. He was obviously dazed. |

Because no other team has throwbacks..? Management makes jersey decisions too. You are now wearing your ignorance badge proudly on your forehead. Congrats - znagle
When was the last time Chicago had a throwback (not 3rd jersey or special winter classic)? How about Montreal? Even Toronto. You know all too well that Bettman banked on Sid to generate money for the league, and it hasn't worked out as he thought it would. Be adults, admit failure. Then we can all move on.

Happy B Day (belated), Ty.
Good write up and summary. A lil too effusive about the Hawks though. Q hasn't rolled 4 lines since the end of 13 UNTIL the beginning of this road trip. When he got comfortable with lines 3 and 4 was when they started to dominate. I think Sharp's return has upset that chemistry a bit and their last 2 games have been among the worst of the last 10. Also, the Hawks desperately need a 5-6 d man so Rosival can drop down. D depth could be a problem if Van Reimsdyk does not come back 100%.
Classy move by Seidenberg to wait outside the Hawks locker room to see if Toews was alright and to shake Sharp's hand.
Questionable play but he is not a dirty player. Julien's comments were posturing - not sure a player in today's game should be looking for a hit in that position (particularly with a man advantage). 9 out of 10 d men would look to lock up with and not hit Toews there.
Hawks were outplayed most of that game. Lucky to get the win. - tredbrta

No suspension for Seidenberg. - clutchgetspaid
Sounds right. He got the penalty. Still a hockey play - though CJ's statements were still off base. |
