There are 4 circles within the NHL. 1) Canadian teams. They invented the game yet somehow no one wants to play there and they never win the cup anymore. 2) Darling American franchises that drive ratings, also knows as the "Winter Classic group" (Chicago, NYR, Pittsburgh, Boston, Washington, Philly, Boston). 3) Obvious failure southern market group where not a soul goes to the games (Florida, Arizona, Dallas) 4) The red head stepchild schedule filler group. These teams get nothing and like it despite being historically the most consistent markets and actually keep the league afloat.

Really wish I could tweak this damn twitter group (without setting up my own crap)....all these constant Leaf updates are annoying:

From the Dallas games I've been able to watch, it seems like they have more full seats than empty seats

Most of them were the playoffs last year and when Anaheim plays in Dallas. Though I do have friends in Dallas that go to a few games and seem to post photos of nearly a nearly full arena

I didnt think I would say this but I think the Amerks are in worst shape then the sabres. I know everyone wanted to keep the kids away from this losing environment in Buffalo but its now looking like the opposite.
