Pay attention to what the forwards do on the third Ducks goal after Eberle misses his shot. If I were Fasth I would also be furious seeing that kind of effort on the back check.

Kesler, youth, change of style of play all factor in. Can they maintain it is the bigger challenge.

Worked out well for P.Roy back in the day, but the oilers management/ownership clearly needs to be embarrassed much more than what they currently are.

I don't really buy into the whole easy schedule stuff for our record so far, but just looking at the fatigue of players at the end of the road trip, you have to wonder if they can keep it going. 4 lines rolling must help, but there wasn't much jump in Montreal.

I guess getting rid of Kesler hasn't hurt so far, but you know he was competitive and pushed team mates just my his work ethic. But he was a sh!t too...

Ya that sucks and man I hope JB is workin them phones and working up the juice to ask Burrows for his list of 8 teams he would be willing to accept a trade to.

Not a fan of Higgins on the fourth line at all except to help bring Horvat along.

Burrows should have been dropped to the fourth with Dorsett and Horvat while Higgins remained on the 2nd line with Bonino and Vrbata...if it stays that way for game time that is...

Higgins is a good third liner, and a mediocre second liner, there in lies our problems. Which IMO will catch up to them at some point this year, perhaps sooner than later.

This is true also but I'm just concerned with Burrows and Bonino's lack of speed with Vrbata. Higgins ate least can keep up with Vrbata and maybe produce a little puck luck I don't see it happening with Burr still there but I guess we'll see...

Another thing is that as good as WD has been coaching so far this year he is a rookie coach and there are gonna be some gaffs along the way...the way it is...
