Why not 85 pages of talking about the good that has happened lately?

Couts and Read playing like they have during the last stretch is really great.

Laughton has been a very pleasant surprise. He never quits on a shift, reminds me of Simmonds in that regard. He is fast too, I had no idea he could skate so well.

BSchenn has stepped up this year. At LW too.

The goaltending continues to be solid.

G and Jake are at the top of the league in scoring and are a joy to watch every game.

I really wish Gostisbehere didn't get hurt because I think he would give them a weapon from the blue line they need. He probably wasn't quite ready but I hate that he is missing time developing because of the injury.

nice to see mason not have to be the show today. got the early lead, 5 different goal scorers, and very little work for him. they are beating teams they should beat. that's a good sign.

It is a good sign. I think the game against TB on Tuesday will be a good measuring stick game to see where the team is.

It was, but he still had to be sharp, especially in the third as the Canes opened it up a bit.

They've done a good job grabbing points and taking advantage of two teams decimated by injury(CBJ & NJ) and a bad team the last 3 games to secure points. They have to continue to do so.

they're .800 when scoring first. pretty good chance they'll win.

When they play like they did today, nobody really wants these lovable scamps to tank

I see right through you people -- you don't fool me with your reverse jinxes

It is certainly more fun to be at the games when they play bad teams and beat them.

mason was solid, no doubt. when jake tagged the 3rd on the pp to restore the 2 goal lead, i knew it was over.

i would really love a regulation win against tampa. cripes, i hate that (frank)ing team.
