I noticed that today also after checking the standings for the first time in about a year. So the trade-deadline activity will tell us how the rest of this will play out.

If he wants to try a push this year I think TM will go real hard for E Kane.

They better make the playoffs after basically destroying there chances at McEichel. I just know they will just miss and once again be that mediocre team that has dawned the Sabres jersey since it's inception. Lol you should pay attention to the NHL more my friend. Does Tavares, Crosby, Mackinnon, Hall, Stamkos, Kane and Kovalchuck ring any bells? As rookies all of them had 40+ points as teenagers. That's huge for being just rookies bud. McDavid is being compared to Crosby so I doubt it'll take him much time to make a name for himself. If he lands with the Oilers maybe his development may take a hit but other then that he's an all-star 1st or 2nd year easy.
