The National Hockey League has taken steps to make it far more difficult to tank for the top pick.

The Oilers are tied for last place in the NHL standings with the Carolina Hurricanes. Both teams have 19 points. The next worst team, Arizona, has 24, while Buffalo has 26. But points don’t tell the whole story here, not at this point in the year.

Mathematician Micah Blake McCurdy has been working out the odds of NHL teams landing McDavid, and he’s found the Oilers have a 12 per cent chance of winning the first overall pick. The Buffalo Sabres still have the best shot at 17 per cent......

The league needs to "ensure" that the Oilers do not get that #1 pick again. I don't care if they have to fix the (frank)ing lottery.

I wonder if the Sabres could trade them Nolan for their first rounder? He would get them out of last place, and Buffalo would slide right back in.

Bills have held Peyton Manning and Aaron Rodgers to a combined 358 passing yards, 0 TD, 4 Int the past 2 games.

So Bills beat Oakland everything plays out as it should and the game against the Pats gets moved into the Sunday Night time slot (it probably wont but just as a what if) the Pats have home field locked up Brady sits and the Bills still lose.
