You still need to build around him properly, which I have no idea if the Stars are or not doing. Having the player worth building a team around doesn't automatically make you a championship caliber team, but you still need that player in order to be one. It's just like this: having your license to practice medicine doesn't automatically make you a great doctor, but you absolutely need that license in order to be one. You just also need other things to complement it, not to take the place of it.
